Summary

Paris Session 2018

Tutorial

The paradigm shift in the configuration of the power system with a high penetration of distributed generation connected at the distribution level, creates the need for a new level of interaction and coordination among transmission system operators (TSOs) and distribution system operators (DSOs). This tutorial focuses on the following key aspects of this evolving relationship: TSO-DSO Cooperation for Frequency Management and Active Power Balancing with Distributed Resources, TSO-DSO Cooperation for Reactive Power management, Restoration with Distributed Resources, Operational Planning with Distributed Resources and Data Exchange.
