What is CIGRE Connect?

CIGRE Connect is the single sign-on system for CIGRE online services.
It provides members with one unique identifier to access multiple CIGRE platforms using a single login.
With CIGRE Connect, your access to CIGRE digital services is simplified, secured, and automatically synchronized across systems.

What CIGRE Connect allows you to do

Using one single identifier, you can:

• Access eCIGRE

• Access ELECTRA

• Access your Session 2026 registration account

Access rights and automatic membership recognition depend on your membership status and the information registered with CIGRE.

For Individual Members

How Membership recognition works

For individual members, the email address registered with your National Committee at the time of your membership subscription is the official reference used to recognize your membership status.

To ensure that your member benefits are correctly applied on eCIGRE, ELECTRA, and Registration platforms:

The email used for your online account must match the email registered with your National Committee. If the two email addresses do not match, your membership status may not be automatically recognized.

How to ensure correct recognition

If you are not recognized as an individual member online:

1. Verify your registered e-mail: Contact your National Committee to confirm which email address is associated with your individual membership. If needed, request an update directly through your National Committee.
    
2. Align your online account: Once your membership email is confirmed:

• Create one using the same email address.
  OR
• If you already have an eCIGRE account under a different email address and you want to keep your data, request an update through the eCIGRE contact form so that your account email matches your membership email.

Once the email addresses are aligned, your membership status will be correctly recognized across online services.

For Users affiliated with a Collective Member

If you are affiliated with a collective member (company, organization, institution), the process is different.

• The email address used on your eCIGRE, ELECTRA, or Session Registration account does not need to match any specific email registered with the National Committee.
• There is no automatic link between your personal email address and the collective membership record.

To benefit from collective membership access, you must manually enter the collective member number in your eCIGRE account profile.
