The scope of Study Committee A3 covers the whole life cycle of AC and DC T&D Equipment. This includes theory, development, design, performance, testing, installation, operation and maintenance of all switching devices, current limited fuses, surge arrestors, capacitors, busbars, instrument transformers and other equipment not covered under other study committees.
