Summary
The report deals with the main features of substation secondary systems. It includes in its scope relay-based and computer-based equipment. The emphasis in much of the report is on large-scale transmission substations. However, many of the systems discussed are applicable also to subtransmission and distribution level substations even though they are generally less complex.
