Staffing of the Electric Power Industry: Model of Cooperation between Universities and JSC «System Operator of the United Power System» in the Field of Young Professionals Training

"SO UPS" is implementing professional retraining programs together with three basic universities. The primary goal of this study is to substantiate the need for further development and deepening of interactions between industry companies and profession-oriented Russian universities (in the field of electrical power engineering). The primary research methods include an analysis of the content of basic bachelor and master degree educational programs at Russian universities, as well as the authors' experience implementing additional programs

(professional retraining) for the System Operator, along with university examples. To ensure that the company attracts motivated and qualified specialists, when implementing professional retraining programs, special attention should be paid to cross-curricular connections that allow for an understanding of the company's operations as a whole, and the number of 1 practical classes (seminars) in the educational process should be increased. An integral part of educational reflection is the holding of scientific and practical seminars and conferences, during which young professionals, students, and experts can exchange opinions and conclusions.
