Summary

The AC high voltage switchgear as an important equipment of power system, its ability to withstand short-time withstand current and peak withstand current is used as an important parameter of power system equipment selection. So the short-time withstand current and peak withstand current test of the AC high voltage switchgear is very important. At present, due to the limitations of the test conditions, the test methods of the AC high voltage switch equipment in various countries are also different. In this paper, according to the needs of the project, the test parameters of short-time withstand current and peak withstand current test of the AC high voltage switchgear were calculated by the electrodynamic force and short-time heating condition. The electrodynamic force of the high voltage switchgear equipment in the test of peak withstand current is analyzed. Get the initial phase angle of maximum amplitude of electrodynamic force and the time. And the heating conditions of the two phase and three phase short-time withstand current test were analyzed, including the current distribution condition of two phase and three phase short-time withstand current tests. This paper has an important significance for the test of short-time withstand current and peak withstand current of the AC high voltage switchgear.
