Summary
CIGRE AORC 2025 Auckland brings together experts and key players from our power system industry across the Asia-Oceanic region to address current challenges in delivering a secure and efficient energy future. This major event is a convergence of the annual Asia-Oceania Regional Council’s Administrative and Technical meetings, election of AORC officers and celebration of those outgoing officers, presentations of 39 Technical Papers by power system engineering practitioners, a Study Committee B2 Overhead Lines full day symposia, and a Digital Substations Implementation workshop plus tours of host Vector’s HV substation, host University of Auckland’s Digital Substation Laboratory, Transpower’s National Control Center, Digital Substation development platform, and Haywards HVDC terminal station. We are offering an international and local platform and viewpoints for business leaders, power system engineers/consultants, renewables, generation, transmission and distribution owners, system operators, regulators and academics to share and discuss current challenges and future directions for the secure and efficient delivery of our power systems.
